Tampa Bay Wave, Inc. has officially named Confidencial as one of 15 high-growth companies selected for the 2026 CyberTech|X Accelerator.
MENLO PARK, CA – Tampa Bay Wave, Inc. has officially named Confidencial as one of 15 high-growth companies selected for the 2026 CyberTech|X Accelerator. Chosen from a global pool of applicants, the cohort comprises startups recognized for their potential to address critical gaps in the global cybersecurity landscape.
The CyberTech|X program, a premier 90-day accelerator, provides Confidencial with strategic access to more than 220 subject-matter experts and an Advisory Council featuring industry specialists from Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Raymond James, PwC, and Rapid7.
Advancing Data-Centric Security and AI Governance
The selection comes as enterprise data increasingly flows beyond the traditional network perimeter and into third-party AI models. Confidencial will use the accelerator’s resources to scale its data-centric protection approach, ensuring security persists at the file level. This ensures protection stays with the data regardless of its location, the platform it is shared on, or the device's status.

Collaborative Innovation with Industry Leaders
By collaborating with the CyberTech|X ecosystem, Confidencial aims to further operationalize its selective encryption and AI governance solutions. The program is supported by key funding partners including A-LIGN, Thoropass, and Potomac Law Group, and focuses on preparing startups to navigate a rapidly evolving cyber landscape through mentorship and strategic enterprise connections.
After the program concludes, Confidencial will continue to receive support through Tampa Bay Wave’s CORE membership, fostering sustained growth within a collaborative ecosystem of mentors and investors.
